This post really has nothing to do with technology or our class really, but today is Earth Day! Technology sort of connects because we have learned to rely on technology to minimize waste. For example, when companies send out bills they can now do it electronically to save paper and money. Just think about all of the bills that KUB sends out every month. If everyone would trade in their paper bills for electronic ones how many trees can we save? The impact would be huge! So, as much as I hate technology it really does help us in many ways and in our world today we probably could not live without it.

- Hi! I'm Andrea Wilson and I'm from Kingsport, TN. I went to Sullivan South High School. I hope to become a teacher because I like kids, I enjoy helping others learn and I usually enjoy school in general. In the future I want to teach senior English courses. Currently, I am an English Literature and Philosophy double major and a Secondary Ed. and Dance Performance double minor. So, in my spare time I enjoy dancing and would one day like to also teach dance in a performance art high school. I also really like reading and doing things outdoors. I'm a little nervous about taking this class because I don't really know much about computers, but I it is something that I would like to learn more about.
